So hesitant to get rid of those beautiful pieces, but this is long over due.

*** PRESENT ***

So for quite some time now I've been not here entirely. I've been checking DA on a REALLY old slow computer and my phone. :/

Good news is... that old rotten computer finally died. So I write from a much better computer. And I'm quickly catching myself up on EVERYTHING. So expect really late replies to comments and replies and deviations. At this rate though - I should be all caught up super soon. - on everything.

That being said I want to send out a heads up to all of those who participated in Love Yourself For Art that have yet to receive anything in the mail from me. Because my computer died - I lost the scans I had done of the pieces meant to be sent to you. And for some reason since I've re-hooked up my scanner/printer combo to this new computer the scanner aspect isn't working. (Even though the printer part is?) There are plans to get that fixed up, and those scanned, and mailed. (Going to get that working tonight - that's the goal.)

I also will be replying to all notes! On a working computer!!! YAY!

*** PAST ***

I've been keeping myself super busy.

There are plans in the works to attempt to return to college in the Spring. (about a year away, but there's a good deal of work that goes into going back...) I had to gather a portfolio - so perhaps some of these pieces might be making their way into my gallery. Just to have some where to have them all in one place.

I had another show not too long ago - last Tues actually. And it went really well. Something a bit different than the last show. Which was a good thing. This show was less about selling art and more about sharing it. I'm planning on writing about it in my blog (with photos) (www.yourwordsaremyweakness.blogspot.com) But I haven't gotten around to that one yet. <3

And... I also enter to be in the Atlanta Arts Festival this September and found out yesterday that I was accepted. Yay! So I'm going to give that a shot.

I'm still trying to find my place in the art world. Trying to find what I want from my art... and what I don't want - and being cautious about figuring it out as I would hate to mistake fear for something I don't want. If that makes sense.

*** FUTURE ***

Besides the Atlanta Arts Festival - (which I will need to start pumping out pieces for - because at this point in time I don't have enough.) - a few of my friends have been working on a zombie comic!

And they've asked me to give illustrating it a shot. So while I know every little about sequential art, I'm excited to give it a go.
