Just a quick heads up to let you guys know that I put some unfinished pages in scraps. I've had a hard time completing things lately. So if you're bored and like to give me any feedback - it's always appreciated. <3

Also - I thought I would share someone with you all.

I was in high school when a friend of mine introduced me to his work. She said she had found my soul mate, but that he was already dead. : /

But his work has definitely inspired me to be more proactive. Art can change the work. We just have to figure out how...

I can only dream of the things he would accomplish if he were still alive today.

He passed at 22 - had done amazing social work in Africa as well as other countries, and finished 17 sketchbooks.

(I'm 24 with 4 and a half. heh.)
Anyway - I'm smitten.

just to make myself clear

the bands are:
the shins
margot and the nuclear so and so's

but from the shins, listen to: split needles, saint simon, pink bullets.
and from Margot, listen to 'quiet as a mouse' when you can turn off all other worldy sounds and only listen to it as loud as possible, 'vampires in blue dresses' and 'skeleton key'

i am annoying.
hahaha and avoiding studying!
i have to learn literature in the 18th century by friday.

That man is unbelievably beautiful.
Oh my goodness.

I found someone like that too. A singer. Elliott Smith. He died when he was 22, but he killed himself. He was severally depressed, but a beautiful person.

Oh, I can't wait to see what the afterlife is like, and see if I get the privaledge to meet some of these people. :)

Also, I would like to recommend some music for you.

If you haven't already listened to them, The Shins are very calming and exciting at the same time.
Margot and the nuclear so and so's= LOVE right now for me :) so listen to 'quiet as a mouse' very loud so you can hear the intruments in the back playing. :) and vampires in blue dresses.

Also, if you have time, find time for some Elliott Smith in your life. He was one amazingly sad indiviudal but he makes me feel so warm inside.. I hope he knew how wonderful he was!

I'm so glad you looked into him. <3

Oh... I know Elliot Smith. He died while I was still in college. My roommate introduced me to his music and then the next day we heard on NPR that he had passed. :( So tragic.

I'm glad you found someone like that to relate to... you know?

Also- thanks so much for the music recommendation. I love the Shins, but I haven't heard of Margot and the Nuclear so and so's. I'm headed to check them out now. *squeal* I love new music. <3

You're not annoying.:P
And I'm glad I could keep you from studying... there's always another day, right? hehe.

Take care!
